An Off-“Kilt”er Wedding: Unconventional Wedding Ideas
Paul was the first groom I ever shot wearing a kilt, and I couldn’t stop taking photos of it (although I won’t put all of them in this blog post.) Anyway, it’s a great tradition and is one of those unconventional wedding ideas that makes for great wedding photos.
Paul is obviously Scottish with the iconic red hair and all, and his bride Belen is from Spain. They looked awesome together and had a great energy about them, even when the rain started to come in. Belen happily grabbed my lighting umbrella and we were able to get some interesting portraits on the beach.
The wedding was held at Arenas del Mar Beachfront and Rainforest Resort, and the beach there really is one of the most photogenic beaches in the area. It’s a secluded little cove with a great view of Punta Catedral, the peninsula of Manuel Antonio National Park. A really spectacular place for a wedding.
